IC CHARACTERISTICS
CURRENT CANON POINT: Season 3, episode "Facets."
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: 6'0" and lean, Jadzia is fair with dark brown hair (which is usually kept pulled back into a low ponytail) and blue eyes. She has a pattern of rosette-shaped markings that trail from her temples down the length of her body, as well as a distinct pouch under her ribs.
She is usually to be found sporting the current Starfleet uniform, but occasionally dresses down in civilian clothes, though that only happens very rarely in the series.
DEMEANOR: As the saying goes, Dax is more than the sum of her parts. Having the memories of eight different lives means gives her a unique perspective, with experience in subjects ranging from diplomacy to piloting to physics. Jadzia is mercurial, adventurous, eager to learn and share her experiences. She is easygoing and friendly to the point of being nosy ("After seven lifetimes, impersonal questions just aren't fun anymore,") but she also takes her work very seriously. She tends to speak her mind
ABILITIES:
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Jadzia has a clean bill of health and leads an active lifestyle. Her species, the Trill, are able to host a workmlike creature inside of their bodies, forming a symbiotic relationship that is hugely significant in Trill culture. She tries to be especially conscientious regarding the health of the symbiont, as shifts in her biochemistry can affect her link with it. If Dax the symbiont is removed from Jadzia's body (or if it were to be injured or otherwise lose its connection with her), she'll die within hours. Worth noting is that the toxins in insect venom can inhibit certain neurotransmitters that help join Trill hosts and symbionts.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Dax doesn't have many touchy subjects, it seems, considering her background. Living that many lifetimes can do that for you. That being said, if she brings up something that offends your character, let her know.

MENTAL: She's not psychic and has no mental powers, so she's vulnerable to those who are and do.
MIMICRY: It's fine, really. She takes most things in stride.
VIOLENCE: Bring it? She's not superpowered but she's a martial arts expert and she also has a Klingon bat'leth as her one carry-on item, so, y'know, approach with caution?
MAGIC: She is vulnerable to magic and has none of her own.
